Our Services

Our goal is to help you create the perfect party while saving you valuable time and money. Many hours go into planning a sensational party. No matter what type of event you are planning the "wow factor" is in the details. You must take care of the invitations, decorations, food, seating for guests, table arrangements, and more! This requires a great deal of planning. Most women today just don't have the time to devote to shopping for party supplies. We can not only help you find the perfect supplies for your party but we will also check many different retailers to ensure that you are getting the best deal on everything you need. We can also show you how to use items from around your own house to help decorate your party. If we can't find something you are looking for we will try to make it for you. We have custom made invitations, decorated cakes, and created decorations for many events. We can even address and mail your invitations if you need us to. We also have a variety of coordinating serving pieces in glass, crystal, porcelain, wrought iron, and metal (copper, antique gold, silver) available for you to use to ensure that everything coordinates. If you will be needing a location or rentals for your event we can find the ones that fit your needs. We can handle almost every detail of the party planning process so that all you have to do is show up to the event and entertain your family and friends.

If you are attending an event and not in charge of hosting it we can help you give a unique and beautiful gift. We currently specialize in "diaper cakes" and gift baskets. We can custom make a gift basket for birthday presents, baby showers, wedding showers, or whatever your need is. Here are a few types of baskets we have created in the past:

Our diaper cakes are made to impress. They are often used as a centerpiece at showers. Whether you are hosting the event and want to give a gift that can be used to decorate the shower or just want to give a creative custom gift our diaper cakes are sure to get everyone's attention. Rates

Our goal is to make our serivces affordable to everyone. We understand that there are a lot of expenses that go along with hosting a party. So it is not only our goal to provide affordable services but also to help you cut the costs of hosting your party any way that we can. We hope to be able to save you enough money on party expenses to more than cover the cost of our services. Fees will typically start out around $30 but may increase depending on the size of event and amount of work needed to plan the event.
The fee for our services will depend on the type of event you would like our assistance in planning. If you are interested in using our services we ask that you contact us for a free event consultation. This consultation can be conducted via phone, fax, e-mail, or in person. We will ask you a series of questions to get an idea of what type of assistance you will be needing, the size of your event, and an idea of what your budget for the event will be.
The price of Diaper Cakes and custom gift baskets will vary. You can either specify a price range and we will create a gift that will fit it or we can create a gift to your specifications and give you a price for it. Diaper cakes can be created with any number of tiers and contain as many or few accessories (socks, onesies, baby lotion, pacifiers, etc.) as desired.

Consultation Form

We will use this form to determine your event's needs, budget, and size. If you could fill out this form before the consultation it would be very appreciated and save valuable time. Consultations can be conducted via e-mail, phone, fax, or in person depending on what works best for you.

Invitations; paper goods (plates, napkins, etc.); food; specialized cake (shower, birthday, party themed); rental items (chairs, tables, etc.); serving pieces; decorations; hostess gifts; custom gift (diaper cake or gift basket)
7. Do you need assistance hosting the event? (We will generally help you with all of the preparation and set up and allow you to host the event alone. However, we can assist in hosting the event if needed)
8. How involved would you like to be in the decision making process?
Would you prefer to give us a color scheme or theme and let us go from there? Or would you prefer we give you choices on things such as invitations and decorations and allow you to make the decisions?

About Us

Hi, I'm Kristan Wooten and I am the owner of Piece of Cake Parties & Gifts. I was raised in Conway and am a graduate of Conway high school and the University of Central Arkansas. After graduating college I married my husband and we own a residential construction company which I am very involved in. But after working with my husband in the construction business I decided I needed to do something for myself. I've always loved decorating and hosting parties. For years people have been telling me that I should create a party planning service and I finally decided to do just that and that is how the idea for Piece of Cake was born.
A few people have asked if I am the only person involved in Piece of Cake and, if so, why is everything worded as "we". I am the sole owner of Piece of Cake, but there are a few reasons I chose to use the word "we" when referring to those involved in Piece of Cake. I am blessed to be surrounded by creative friends and family that I love to bounce ideas off of and borrow ideas from. I truly feel that all of my work is a collaborative effort. I also hope to eventually expand Piece of Cake and add additional team members. My hope is to be able to offer a variety of custom gift services created by other talented people. So although I am the only owner of Piece of Cake there are many other people who will be involved in the party planning process.
I am a classic perfectionist who wants every detail to be perfect. When it comes to party planning being a perfectionist is an asset. I promise to do nothing but my best when planning your event and treat it as if it was my own party to host. I will work with you in every way that I can to make sure you are not only satisfied but delighted with the end result. My hope is for everyone to compliment you on how fabulous your party was and what a wonderful job you did and for you to be able to tell them "Oh, it was a Piece of Cake!"
